My vehicle was stolen muffler for exhaust. It started showing check engine light. I have tried to search for one but fail. Is they another alternative for it?

Hello,

Technically, a vehicle does not need a muffler to run properly, it just makes the vehicle's engine exhaust quieter for other drivers on the road. A missing muffler shouldn't cause your vehicle's Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or "check engine" to illuminate. Can you pull the Direct Trouble Code (DTC)(s) for us? Here is a link explaining how to do this if you are unfamiliar with how to do it:

Please go through this guide, if needed, and get back to us with what you are able to find out. We can go from there.

Thanks,
, Alex
