Shift cable

So while driving bushing popped of shifter pc. By the way my knowledge is limited so some terms may not be exact. Bushing under hood looks intact. Took console off and bushing intact but popped off gear shifter pin pc. The gear that it is in the cable is to far over to pop back on. Every single thing I read says needs to be in park but unable to move it and cannot fig out how to override it to park but if do so cable will be way past that point.
