Cannot shift out of park

I cannot get my PT Cruiser to shift out of park?

There is an interlock shift cable that sound like it broke or came out of adjustment. Here are diagrams below to help you see what to do to remove tor adjust the cable.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
