Motor mount replacement

Do I need to jack the engine up when replacing the rear motor mount, and how would I do that?

It's a good idea to support the engine while changing the mount. You can either use a floor jack with a block of wood under the oil pan or a support fixture like the one below.

Either one will allow you to move the engine some to aide in installing the bolts.

Below is the procedure on changing the mount.

REAR ENGINE MOUNT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove engine mount retaining bolts and nuts, Fig. 2, then remove mount.
4. Reverse procedure to install
