While checking water reservoir noticed brown slimy stuff under passenger motor mount. I stuck my finger underneath and discovered more of the same. Do motor mounts leak? Can this stuff be coming from somewhere else? Can somebody point in the right direction as to what it might be? I already called auto part store and motor mount are pricey. Car is running fine except this slimy stuff I noticed, it was not there last week.

Engine mounts are often oil filled this is to help reduce vibration, if it is leaking it should be replaced.
