Four doors, engine model f22b2(2422811), sohc, no v-tech. Where is the crankshaft position sensor in this car? i am new in Honda mechanic, this is my first. It is not behind the crankshaft pulley. i am going to receive the ignition coil and the distributor new. i changed the spark plug cables. There is no electricity out to the distributor. The electricity stay on the plug on the ignition coil. i checked from fuses to the plug and everything is apparently okay.
What is the common problems for this cars?

The crankshaft position sensor is built-in to the distributor. See the image below for details. Far as I can tell, you will have to replace the whole distributor to replace that sensor.

I would ask if the service engine light is on. If so, it might not be a bad idea to scan it. Heck, even if it is not on it is not a bad idea to scan it. Here is a how-to guide on scanning an older OBD1 Honda: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/honda-car-1990-1995-obd1-code-retrieval-procedure-and-definition-table

Hello,

I would start by checking the power feed and ground. It sounds like an PGM-FI relay is not working.

Here is a guide to help you do some testing:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

Check out the diagrams (below).

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Hello. I am here again, the last problem, it crank but will not start was the timing, i correct the problem.
I use the car for three days and now it start but does not stay on. I am going to send you photos of some parts that i need help to know for what is for.
I change the main relay, i change the distributor, the ignition coil, the ECU/ECM, the spark plugs, the spark plug wires.
I have the codes that i put out of the ECU/ECM and the transmission and there was,
Motor codes:
Code 15
Code 7
Transmission codes:
Code 7
Code 8
I heard the fuel pump is working, i do not know the pressure but i heard. When i turn the key the dash lights turn on and off. I turn the key and start, but do not stay on or run. I check the fuses inside and only one do not give me continuity, is the number three in the first row from right to left. I check the out fuse box and all have continuity, but i do not know for what is the four relay in the outside fuse box, can you tell me?
What i left?
How can i check the igniter?
What else i can do?
If you need more information ask me, maybe i left something.
I have a big relay near the main relay, the fuse number three from right to left in the first row, the four relays in the outside fuse box.
What else i need to check or what else i need to test?
Thanks for your help i really aprecciate.
Oh, i forgot i have three relays and a brown box inside on the fuse box at the top, for what is each of it?
I send you the photo of the igniter of the new distributor are they are correct?
If you see something wrong please tell me to make the correction.
Att. Juan marin
