Engine is making loud ticking noise after having the oil changed

My car had an oil change and now the engine has a loud ticking noise. it was doing fine before the oil change.

It could be a valve lifter making noise. Not uncommon for this to happen after an oil change on an older car.

Can you post a video of the noise so I can hear it?

Drive it for a couple of days and see if it goes away.

Did you verify the oil level?
