Moon-roof not working properly

Hi,

When you try closing it, can you hear the motor running? If not, suspect it is the switch. The switch simply changes the polarity of power to the motor causing it to change directions. If it works one way, the motor is good it just isn't getting power.

Here are directions for replacing the switch. The attached pics correlate with the directions.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Removal

Remove the overhead console. Refer to Section 501-12, Console - Overhead.

Remove the light assembly from the overhead console.

Release the 2 rear tabs and rotate the light assembly slightly away from the overhead console.

Release the 2 front tabs and remove the light assembly from the overhead console.

Disengage the 4 tabs and remove the switch from the light assembly.

Disengage the 2 tabs and remove the switch bezel from the switch.

Installation

Engage the 2 tabs and connect the switch bezel to the switch.

Engage the 4 tabs and install the switch into the light assembly.

Install the light assembly into the overhead console.
Install the light assembly into the over head console and engage the 2 front tabs.
Rotate the light assembly slightly toward the over head console and engage the 2 rear tabs.

Install the overhead console. REFER to Section 501-12, Console - Overhead.

Removal

Pull the rear of the overhead console downward to release the retaining clips.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Remove the overhead console.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
