I am planning to buy a 4WD Landcruiser and add a bigger suspension from suppliers like Ironman 4x4- Australia.
How much will these affect the efficiency of the vehicle in terms of speed, off road drive, balance of the vehicle and maintenance of the vehicle?

if you do it correctly it should not hurt it to much, of course there may be more maintenance with that every time something Is modified.

HMAC300, thanks for your reply. This will be my first time to do this, I mean to have a modification of such to my vehicle. Of course I will not do it myself. The service will be provided by the company selling the 4x4 accessories. I see a few vehicles running around with such modification and I think its cool. But before I commit myself to it I would at least get some pros and cons.

Just an extra note here, be very careful if you decide to fit airbag suspension as i have seen chassis crack with these added, mainly after towing on very rough outback tracks.
