Hello, I just replaced my blend door actuator. As well as replace my condenser. However, I am still not getting air out of my front vents. I get air out of the foot and defrost vents though. So I am assuming I need to replace my mode door actuator. Does anyone know where it is located and can provide an image? As well as a part number.

Hi,

To access the mode door actuator, you need to remove the floor duct on the driver's side of the vehicle.

If you look below, I attached the directions for replacing it. (See pics 1 and 2). Once the new one is installed, it will need to be calibrated. Pic 3 below provides the directions for recalibration.

Let me know if this helps or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

I did that and still didn’t get anything using the alternate calibration. Can the doors become dislodged or something else block the vents or ducts?

Hi,

Yes, they can get stuck or damaged. When you had the actuator out, did you note if you were able to manually move the doors?

Also, most of the time if one is stuck, it will cause the plastic gears in the actuator to make a clicking sound. Do you notice anything like that?
