Fuel pump replacement instructions needed

I am attaching the instructions from the manual. They are not incredibly detailed so if you need more info. here is a guide that should help with some general info:

I've seen videos for gas versions and there is a removable plate over the tank to access the pump. Does the diesel versions have the access also?

I looked for this information in the manual and online and didn't find it. That normally means it is not possible. Add that to the fact that the second step says to remove the fuel tank, I suspect it is not there. Sorry.
