So, I recently just picked up my vehicle listed above Mk7 GTI, SE, which has around 74,000. When I get into my car and put it into reverse it feels like a vibration in the whole car is happening but then I put foot on gas goes away and then putting it into drive vibrates again then stops when I am fully driving is this normal? or is a mount bad or what I'm just not really sure.

Some vibrations are not normal, the engine and transaxle mounts are the first please to look but if it can get a short video of under the hood when the engine is idling, I can tell if you have an internal engine problem, you can upload it here in your response. Also, you can tell if the engine mounts are worn by having a helper put the car in drive and then reverse with the hood open, as you watch the engine's movement, if it is excessive the mounts are bad, here is a guide to help and I have included how to change the engine and transmission mounts out.
