I didn't have enough fuel to get home from work so my boss give me a tank of fuel but he give me mix fuel by mistake. It ran fine for the five minute drive home but 20 minutes after getting home I had to head out. The car started but it was barely running and then it quit. My question is, can I just fill the tank to dilute it or should I drain the tank and fuel lines?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Well, the best course of action would be to drain the tank. If you first want to try adding fresh gas first that is understandable. There is a fuel additive called SeaFoam you can buy at auto parts stores that I've used in the past that got a car started after sitting for 5 years with old gas. I've attached a picture below of what it looks like. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
