Engine Performance problem
1993 Mitsubishi Truck 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i have heard that some cars you have to replace the timing belts before they break or the engine will be ruined.will the engine in my 93 mighty max be permently effected if the timing belts broke while i was driving?

Mitsu recomends replacement every 60K miles and yes damage may occure if it pops.
