1992 Mitsubishi Pajero 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I live in Okinawa Japan I bought this truck and about 1 month later I started to notice that after sitting for a while usually overnight it could take 45 sec to 1 min to start. After starting there is a smell of gas. Once it starts it is fine all day until the next morning. What do you guys think?

You would have to check it for spark whenit is cold. Im not familiar wit that model. If it has a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail (vacuum line to it from intake) see if it has fuel in the vacuum line if so replace regulator. Also be sure the tune up is in good shape. If this thing has a carb (doubt) be sure the choke isnt slammed too far shut when cold.
