Where are the timing marks on a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5? i think the timing jumped. When I start it I have to hold it to the floor and it barely runs at all, it sounds like poop. lol...

Before we get involved with the valve and ignition timing lets confirm the fuel pressure when you turn key to "on" do you hear the fuel pump come on? If so check the pressure if not, disconnect the fuel pump connector and check for power.

If you have both pressure and power-disconnect a plug wire or to ground it to the engine and crank engine over while you look for spark and at the same time listen to the injector/s are they clicking.
