Changing transmission fluid

I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage. When a friend went to change the tranny fluid he could not find a filter. Can anyone tell us where the filter is located on this vehicle. Thanks.

Hi,
I have a 1992 Automatic Mitsubishi Emeraude and its starting to struggle changing up in gears. So I decided to check the transmission fuel level and guess what? I just cant find it. Break fluid, oil, etc, all there. I took it down to the gas station and the attendant couldn't find it either. He suggested a mechanic but I'd rather not pay for something so simple. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

I see other pple have the same problem, hope someone out there knows where it is on these cars.
