car stalls

2001 eclipse gt 3.0l 6 cylinder 133000 miles. car stalls when the a/c is turned on when stopped. If driving a/c can be run but when it slows down to a stop the car will stall. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Could be an idle up vacuum switching solenoid, the idle air control valve or the computer.

The computer when it receives an AC signal when the compressor kick in it will command the idle air control to increase the idle due to the load of the compressor. or a vacuum switching solenoid to raise the idle.
