Air Conditioning Clicking & now Not Working

1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse started making a clicking sound then A/C stopped working. What should I have changed?

The Ac will do what we call short cycle if it gets to low on coolant. The only way to fix it is to have the AC unit checked for leaks and charge the system. With R134A coolant.
