Engine problem
2003 Mitsubishi V6 Front Wheel Drive Manual 65000 miles

Car makes VERY loud ticking/clacking noise on most cold starts, and probley 50% of any startups regardless of temp. At first it would only last about 15 seconds... 2 months later, it lasts several minutes or never goes away. Sounded like sticky lifters ("adjusters" as Mits. calls them), so I replaced them... didnt go away. Engine light is on - threw codes for cam and crank sensors being bad, but i highly doubt they both just died at the same time.
Then yesterday, the car just wouldnt start. Period. It's dead.
Anyone else had this problem???
