2000 Other Mitsubishi Models idling

My car idles up and down while its parked and running and when I stop at a red light. The engine runs up and down 2 seconds apart

Sounds like you may have a slight vaccum leak, with vehicle idling spray around the manifold and throttle body, and vaccum lines with carb cleaner, if idle changes you have found a leak.

Also clean out the throttle body, and check the PCV valve
