car was stored for a 9 months. When we tried to start it, it needed jump because battery didn't hold any charge. After jump it will keep running after jump cables were removed but if turned off, it was unable to start on its own. So, I got new battery and since it was dark when I installed it I reversed terminals and when I went to crank it, it wasn’t turning. I installed it correctly as soon as that happen and car was got to go. After a day of city driving about 30mi, next morning car shut off on me while I was stopped at light. I jumped it with one of those battery jumpers but as soon as I remove cables car dies. I left booster on and drove it back home, I measured voltage @ alternator terminal (2V) with car running so I figured it was bad alternator, however I took it to 2 different Autozones and it passed tests with flying colors few times. I even got new alternator and got same results when I installed it. V @ the battery is about 11.9 to 12.2 V. But when I measure it @ alternator terminal I get about 2V. With motor running V on a battery doesn’t rise any higher than when motor is off, however I checked cable between alternator terminal & positive cable and it has minimal resistance -so that’s fine. I understand that in this model regulator is inside of the alternator s oit cant be that. Also my interior fan, clock and radio are not working, headlights, A/C, dash-lights, blinkers etc work. I also checked all fuses with light probe and they seem ok as well as relays.
