Forgot which battery connection to take off when changing the alternator believe it is the negative need to now 4 sure

Hi larrylove14,

Some people don't bother which to take off but the correct and proper way is to disconnect the negative.

If you try to remove the positive first, any contact of the spanner with any body parts you are going to have a fireworks show ;)
