My car keeps overheating and I can fill it with antifreeze and then a day later it is completly out also my heat is not working properly and I think there is a leak around the timing belt and the water pump. My vehicle is a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage LS Coupe 2dr. Can you tell me what part may need to be replaced or fixed to stop this leak. Is it a major or minor problem.

The most common cause of a coolant leak in that area is the water pump itself. A radiator pressure test on a full radiator can confirm this.
