1996 Other Mitsubishi Models idling

I've just had this vehicle engine overhauled and the fuel pump serviced with new nozzles.

I can't get the engine to idle and it's emitting black smoke

Need your advise

Black smoke indicates a vehicle running rich. will it run fine if its driving or does it do it when idling or driving?

recheck all that you replaced and see if somethign was installed wrong

engine is getting up there in miles.
