Hi
I was given a mitsubishi mirage by my brother about a year ago and i have a problem which occurs when i step on the clutch, it tends to make a loud squeaking noise when you press it and im not sure if it just needs some lubrication or it is a more serious issue. If you have any idea let me know.\

Hi there,

this will depend where the noise is coming from, if under the dash, you may be able to lube the clutch pedal pivot. As these vehicles use both hydraulic & cable clutch, if cable type, the cable may be binding s well. or it may have a dry fork pivot, which will require the gearbox to be removed, you will have to do a bit of detective work to narrow down the possibilities.
