There is a knocking coming from inside the left cylinder head or at least I think so but its on the left side of the engine & I was thinking about just ordering a new head online but I wanted a second opinion also the timing belt is fine ive had a few people try to sat its the timing belt but I was wondering if it could be the tensioner or something simple to fix?

Hi there,

This is just to hard to make a judgment on with out hearing the noise, there is a lot going on in the engine that can make that type of noise, I would get a mechanic to have a listen first, you don't want to be getting an expensive head if its not the problem, sometime these problems just have to be heard first hand before you can make a diagnosis.

I already took it to a mechanic and they tried to say it was the timing belt but I looked & the timing belt is in tacked also the knocking is coming from the front of the engine either under the head or in it but I opened it up & the cams are fine nothing is loose but im still not sure
