I recently had the engine rebuilt on this Mighty Max pickup. It runs great, but cooler now than before (new radiator too). Is it okay to cover a portion of the radiator to increase the temp for winter driving, or must I have a hotter thermostat installed (money is an issue right now).

Hi there,

i would go with a new thermostat as that is a much safer option.
