1989 Other Mitsubishi Models compression

i got this pickup that is used for work.i am not getting compression out of the third valve.is it safe to assume that i need to get the valve machined or what else could it be?

Hi there,

An air pressure test will prove the valve problem. If your valves are adjustable, make sure that they have clearance when hot, if so one would presume a valve has burnt out. but the air pressure test will prove it.
