After doing the last oil change my Montero started to leak from the oil draing plug, I took it back to the Pepboys facility and they told me that the plug's tread may came out and it was the problem, however they stated that it may be a risk to remove the plug again because there is a chance that the new plug won't stay and will be necessary to change the oil pan, and doing it may cost around 1200. Also they recommend me to search for the pattern on this problem because could be a factory defect with this model and Mitsubishi may fix the problem. So, I am wondering if anyone have had the same problem or it was a damage made at the oil change faciltiy and they don't want to repair it. Any advice on this matter will be really appreciated
