Just purchased a 2002 Mistsubishi Montero with aprox. 61K miles. Great SUV overall. After driving for an extended time from a cold clime to a warm clime the vehicle stalled out twice within city limits at stop lights within 1 hour. Any ideas as to why?

Sounds like it may have an idle speed control motor that is getting slow to respond.Try cleaning out around the throttle plate inside the bore with carb cleaner and a rag. Also remove adn clean out the ISC motor with carb spray
