2002 Mitsubishi Montero Oil Consumption

Engine oil light comes on at stop lights and you have to add oil to Vehicle about every other day but oil lose is not on engine or ground.

Do you notice a oil smell in exhaust or anywhere? How about blue exhaust? Look under vehicle on oil pan. Notice oil on that?

None of those things are present exhaust is nomal few oil drops here and there nne on oil pan oil filter tight. Crawled all around under car after oil change nothing.

How much are you loosing every other day?

Coolant level always good? Vehicle runs good?

Checked coolant its correct adding about a quart every other day! Taps every now and then but otherwise runs great!

Ok, now I think you should be checking for compressoin issues indicating loose of oil and coolant into the combustion chamber. Due to bad headgasket, cracked block or cracked/warped head.

No coolant in oil idles fine has power could it be the oil pump seal is gone bad in the oil pan?
