2002 Mitsubishi Montero battery

I thought i had a dead battery, so i changed it. There is an electrical current because the radio and lights will turn on but the car will not start. any ideas?

It is most likley a bad starter. U will need to find the starter and you have to test the wires on it. The big wire should have power at all times and the little wire will only have power when you are trying to start it. If it has power when some1 is turning the key try and tap the starter with a hammer and see if it tries to start or starts up.
