Recently I noticed my left rear break & tail lights were not working; easy fix right, wrong. It was not a burnt out bulb, but I believe I am pushing too many amps though that particular circuit.

Initiallly I replaced the 10 amp fuse and it blew...bad fuse I tought, 3 fuses later I change my mind. I was curious and even put a 15 amp fuse in the fuse slot and it blew as well.

I checked for loos connections, but could not see any. At this point I am stumped, do you have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

Somewhere between the switch at the brake pedal, and the bulb in the back, the power wire has come into contact with a ground, this is known as a short circuit. You will have to trace the wire....
