2000 Mitsubishi Montero hard to turn my steering wheel when

i just noticed this problem today after work. whenever i am driving forward, it seems to be getting harder and harder to turn my whicle. i checked the power steering fluid and it was fine. whats the problem?

Hi there,
Is the power steering belt OK? If it is there may be problem with the pump or the rack, you will need a mechanic to check this for you.
