1999 Mitsubishi Montero Park/neutral switch

Transmission problem
1999 Mitsubishi Montero 6 cyl Automatic 210000 miles

I have been searching for a diagram for me to be able to find this switch. My montero shows 3rd gear on the dash when the car is in drive, and i thoguht this was maybe the issue. Do you know where this switch is located.

The P/N position sensor is located on left side of transmission-sorry no pic available
