dear mechanic, hi my name is kelly and i have just purchased a mitsubishi montero from some one and when i start it it blows out white smoke the engine runs fine but i am concerned about the white smoke what do you suggest the problem is?

White smoke is an indication of coolant being burn in the cylinders-Get it block and pressure tested to rule out a blown headgasket, cracked head or block and an intake manifold leak
