Can you tell me what causes burning oil smoke(blue smoke) when I take off from a stop. It does not sem to smoke while I'm driving, only when I go from a stop. The engine also burns about a quart of oil every three days.

Can be either rings and/or valve guides. Check PCV see if cloged up replace if dirty and dose not rattle when shaken.
