hi, my montero started acting up yesterday its making a wierd noise when ever i let off the gas it sounds like its coming from the drivers side rear axle or tire i was wondering what you thought it could be the noise sounds like something is grinding or thumping

Hi c man,

It could be the brakes needing some attention.

If it is from the central part, you might need to have a look at the propeller shaft universal couplings.
