1993 Mitsubishi Mirage Not getting spark

Car just died going down the street. Cranks, but will not start. Rotor turns, spark plugs smell like gas. Just not getting any spark. Can you help?

Did thecheck engine light come on befor it died? Could be acrank or cam sensor. Need to have the computer scanned fo trouble codes to see what is missing, the comp may have stored a failure record
