Engine Performance problem
1992 Mitsubishi Mirage 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

The engine is fuel injected. When started it revs at 3000rpm untill warm. It also revs at 3000rpm when the aircon kicks in. I know the revs usually increase a bit when aircon is on but this is excessive. What could the problem be.

sounds like the idle speed motor may need to be replaced, also a throttle body cleaning may be in order for good measure
