1991 Mitsubishi Mirage 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I'm in the process of changing my head gaskit & got every thing I know to take off but the head refuses to come off I've tried hitting it with the rubber end of a hammer but no success can you help

if you are certain you have removed everything properly and it's still stuck then it's probably due to overheating. take a large pry bar and try wedging it up to loosen the head from the block. may take a little time but it should pop on up. most importantly just make certain there are no hidden bolts or fasteners holding it on.
