Electrical problem
2004 Mitsubishi Lancer 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Had one window that wouldn't work about a year ago. Was told the motor was bad. Instead of fixing it, (would of been expensive) repairman got the window up and we just don't use it. Now the other 3 only work occasionally. We replaced the fuse and that didn't work. Does each window have it's own motor? Any ideas? Thanks

Hi npmayfield,

Tnahk you for the donation and sorry for the delay in replying.

Yes, each window is equipped with its own motor. The synptoms described seems to indicate a problem with the master or individual switches. These switches are 2 way and if either the master or individual switches are faulty, it would cause the circuit to fail. It is quite common for these switches to have intermittent bad contacts.
