I HAVE CHANGED MY TIMING BELT AFTER BELT LOST TEETH AND JUMPED TIME. I HAVE LINED ALL TIMING MARKS UP ACCORDING TO GUIDELINES. I TRIED TURNING OVER BEFORE I PUT ALL BACK TOGETHER AND VEHICLE IS TURNING OVER SMOOTHLY AND GETING SPARK BUT IS ACTING AS IF NO GAS IS GETTING TO THE ENGINE. I HOOKED UP CRANKSHAFT SENSOR HOPING THAT IT WOULD START AFTER THAT BUT NOTHING. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO PLEASE CONTACT ME. THANKS!

When the engine turns over, does it sound different than it did before? The reason I ask is, Mitsubishis like to bend valves when the timing belt jumps. Please advise.

It may sound better than it did before due to "0" compression from bent valves. You had better run a compression test. This doesn't good.
