2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Heating problem

I change the thermostat and it has no leaks. The only thing unusual is both radiator hoses are compress like it has a vacuum. I remove the radiator cap and the hoses fill again. Both fans work.

Replace the radiator cap and see if it helps.
