my car has ran fine since i got it almost a year ago but about a half hour ago i started it and was driving home and my car started to sound like a pressure cooker and when i pushed the gas it cld rev all of the way to 5000rpm but barely accelerate. also when i slow down the back end of my car starts shaking really badly, plus when i stop it shakes horribly and the lights start to dim and then get real bright like its going to die.

did you check the transmission fluid?. I dont think its the oxygen sensor. I think you should check the alternator and the battery at this point, if you can drive the car to autozone , they should be able to do it in the car.
