Hi.
I want to change the original speakers in my Mitsubishi Galant (station wagon) to something a little better, but my problem is that I don ´t know how to remove the lower panel on the doors?
Can I remove the lower panel without taking off the panel above?
Are the many screws/clips that ´s holding it in place?
Where should I start bending the panel to make it come off.
And do you remove the panels on both the front & back doors in the same way?

Yes, all of the door panels will come off the same way, once you figure out the first one. Mitchell has no pics of this procedure, so were gonna have to figure it out. Start by looking for screws on the armrest/door handle, it needs to be strong there so there is usually afew screws, they may be hidden by pop in covers. Start at the bottom of the door and gently pry the panel back so that you can see in behind it with a flashlight. Should just be held on with pop in plastic retainers. Pry next to them to pop them out of the door, if a few break it is normal as they get brittle over time. Work your way up to the top of the door.
