2004 Mitsubishi Galant cabin air purifer filter

I cannot locate the cabin filter. I was told it was behind the glove box. I removed the glove box & didnot see any filter. Please help

Need to tremove damper rod push in on sides of box drop down. Then remove two screws, cover then filter.

I JUST FOUND OUT MY MODEL DIDN'T HAVE A CABIN FILTER TILL LATER IN THAT YEAR.
