2002 Mitsubishi Galant Fuel Economy

I just had my Bank1 Catalytic Converter and O2 sensor replaced, along with an ignition coil. The engine was misfiring before this.

Now that it runs perfectly, I've gone from getting 29.6 Miles/Gallon to getting 23.4 Miles/Gallon.

Could the Cat converter have anything to do with this?

improper o2 sensor installed? harness damaged during o2 sensor removal and installation?

exhaust leak.
