Shakes or Wobbles problem
2001 Mitsubishi Galant 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 97118 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 2.4 galant. The problem is when i'm driving at any speed the car is fine. If i'm in park the car is fine. If its in reverse its fine. neutral fine. But if its in drive and i have my foot on the break such as a red light or stop sign, basically come to a complete stop while in drive, the car starts to shake all over. from the glove box to the steeringwheel. I can feel it seem to be getting worse and worse. Do you think it can be electrical. I just replaced teh plugs and wires and the injection coils.

yes the mounts are 2 pieces of metal bonded to rubber and when the y wear out the metal will touch each other causing the vibration. usually there are no vibrations because the bonded rubber keep the 2 pieces of metal mount from touching each other.
